Our Generator Flooring Plates (Top Cover System) are precision-fabricated to ensure a durable, level, and visually clean surface above hydro generator assemblies. Designed for strength, dimensional accuracy, and long-term performance, these plates are suitable for occasional personnel access, maintenance use, and protective coverage.
Key Features:
- Precision Fabrication Flooring plates are manufactured with strict control over perpendicularity, squareness, and parallelism, ensuring that when assembled, all top surfaces lie within 1 mm level tolerance.
- Design Gap & Fitment: Plates are installed with a nominal 10 mm gap between them for controlled thermal expansion and mechanical fit-up.
- Material & Quality:
- Plates are made from single-piece mild steel sheets — welded plates are not permitted.
- TC (Test Certificate) for M.S. plates is provided with every supply for material traceability.
- Surface Preparation & Painting:
- All plates undergo sand-blasting or chemical cleaning (with care to avoid distortion).
- Painted as per customer drawings and guaranteed for 5 years in terms of adhesion and finish.
- Packaging & Protection:
- Each set of plate is packed in polythene + corrugated box + wooden crate to ensure scratch-free delivery.
- Wool felt lining is included for on-site cushioning — with 20% extra felt provided.
- Marking & Numbering: Each plate is numbered according to the layout scheme in the fabrication drawing, ensuring easy site assembly.
- Hardware: All mounting hardware is of standard quality and coated with Zinc Nickel or Cadmium plating for corrosion protection.
Site Support & Inspection
- Plates shall be inspected by customer at our works.
- Any minor modifications, adjustments, paint touch-ups, or finish improvements required at the site will be done free of cost by our team.
